FIU Students Abroad Fall 2006 |
Fipse
scholarship program is closed. The recipients will spend a full semester abroad, living and studying in the country as a full time student (12 to 15 credits). Courses will be determined by the College of Business Advisor based on the students remaining credits to graduate. In addition, an Intercultural Communications Course will be required as an independent study while studying abroad. The students must register and pay tuition for the courses in FIU before leaving to study abroad. They will also be required to have overseas health insurance coverage while studying abroad. There are two different FIPSE Scholarships, Europe and North America from which the students will select the destination in order of preference and they will be assigned based on availability. At this time we are seeking students for Spring 2007 Semesters (16 weeks). In order to qualify the students must have a current minimum of a 3.00 GPA, be a US Citizen or Legal Resident and be admitted to the College of Business.
