The Counselor Education programs follow standards prescribed by the American Counseling Association (ACA) and the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP).

 

The Master of Science in Counselor Education, School Counseling Track, is nationally accredited by CACREP and is approved by the Florida Department of Education, the Florida Board of Regents, and by the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE).

 

The Master of Science in Counselor Education, Mental Health Counseling Track, is nationally accredited by CACREP and meets the curriculum requirements for licensure as a Mental Health Counselor as outlined by the Florida Department of Medical Quality Assurance.

 

The Master of Science in Counselor Education, Rehabilitation Counseling Track, meets all requirements as outlined by the Council on Rehabilitation Education (CORE) and prepares students for Certification in Rehabilitation Counseling (CRC).
