Welcome to the Department of Educational and Psychological Studies. The Department offers bachelors programs in Special Educations, masters programs in Counselor Education and Special Education, an educational specialist program in School Psychology, and a doctoral program in Exceptional Student Education. Courses are also offered in educational psychology and research.
We are dedicated to educating professionals to work in a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural urban environment. Our culturally-diverse faculty are known for their excellent teaching, progressive research, and service to their disciplines. Most of our students come from South Florida, however, we have many students from throughout the United States and from many foreign countries. Our students, both full- and part-time, are among the best.
