GLY 1010 Introduction to the Earth Sciences

Exam Guidelines

The exam will consist of about 54 multiple choice questions, each of which is worth two points. The results of the exam will be a score out of 100 - in other words there are 8 bonus points built into the test.

The test will be computer graded so you must bring a sharpened No 2 pencil to the exam (also bring a spare) in order to fill in the bubble sheet. Bring a sharpener in case the pencil breaks. Anyone unprepared will meet with my wrath.

There will be more than one version of the test

Tips for the test!

Read the question carefully!

If you can't come up with the correct answer immediately, check through all of the alternatives and eliminate the ones that obviously can't be correct.

No points are subtracted for wrong answers, so don't leave any answers blank (if blank it will be counted as wrong)

Fill out the bubble sheet carefully! Make sure you are indicating the answer that you want to give
