Welcome from the Associate Dean
The College of Arts and Sciences welcomes students to the Biscayne Bay Campus of Florida International University. Students at BBC will find a lively intellectual environment that values student diversity, holds high expectations for student performance, and rewards students with excellent faculty committed to fostering an outstanding learning experience. Freshmen participate in Freshman Interest Groups; qualified students participate in the Honors College. Arts and Sciences continues to add new degree programs at Biscayne Bay. We currently offer undergraduate majors in English, History, Humanities, International Relations, Liberal Studies, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology/Anthropology, and Visual Arts. We have Marine Biology now. In addition, we offer graduate programs in Creative Writing, English, African-New World Studies, and Psychology.
