posted exclusively for FIU students.

Review "What you look for in an internship"
- From Career Services Homepage,login. Please make
sure that your information is updated every semester.
Then search for the internships.
(**Required for International Students)
Securing Academic Credit for an Internship
Step 1
Complete Steps 1-3 in the 'For Experience' section
above.
Step 2
Download and complete the
internship application.
Step 3
Take the completed application to the faculty contact
for your department for signature (see Faculty
Contact List ) . At the same time, request an
override code for the course
Step 4(applies to International Students only)
Take the internship application to the Office of International
Students and Scholars for approval.
Step 5
Bring completed and signed application to Career Services
GC 230.
Step 6
Register for the internship course (Check department
course listing)
Step 7
Download remaining
forms (i.e. Checklist, Learning Objectives, Student
Evaluation, Employer Evaluation, Internship Program
Credit Requirements - see links below)
Step 8
Turn in your paper on or before the one week prior
to end of semester in order for your grade to post
in time
Step 9
Complete the feedback form. Enter internship information by logging into
your account and click on "placement" tab under your
"profile".
