Resume Books

Through Panther JOBlink, employers can access several resume books containing the resumes of FIU students and alumni who actively participate in Career Services.

There is an access fee of $100 - $125 for an access period of 45 days. If you would like to gain access to a Resume Book please contact Kyra Spence via e-mail at kyra.spence@fiu.edu. Processing of resume book access can take up to 7 business days.

Access to the Resume Books includes the following features:

• Choose from 4 resume books:
  • Business, Journalism & Communication ($100)
  • Engineering & Architecture ($100)
  • Health, Hospitality, Arts & Sciences ($100)
  • All majors ($125)
• Filter through the student resumes using criteria like keywords, major, year in school and applicant type(current student or alumni)
• Use the Advance Search tab to do a more detailed search through the resumes using criteria like graduation date, degree level and GPA
• Email students
• Generate your own resume book referral

Resume Referrals

Career Services can provide referral services for full-time, career-level positions, and paid internships. All jobs for which a referral is made must be placed on FIU's on-line partner, Panther JOBlink.

Important:
We recommend posting the position and allowing at least 30 days for students and alumni to view the position and apply, before requesting a resume referral.

To request a referral, please contact us at (305) 348-2423 and we will refer you to the appropriate career consultant.

Please be prepared to provide the following information:

• Panther JOBlink job ID#
• Job/position description
• Requirements/qualifications
• Salary range
• Work schedule
• Contact information of referral recipient(s)

A search of our database will be conducted and resumes of students that meet your qualifications will be forwarded to you. This is usually done in 3-5 business days but may take up to 7 business days. Please contact these students directly to arrange interview appointments.
