2001-02: Played mostly out of the No. 6 spot in singles and No. 3 in doubles … finished 5-8 in spring singles, winning several important matches including a 4-6, 6-2, 7-6 victory against nationally-ranked Florida State that decided a 4-3 win over the Seminoles … won 23 doubles matches with two different partners including a 7-1 spring mark with Mei Ly … teaming with Maria Montoya, the pair went on win the Flight B doubles title at the Omni Hotels/ITA South Regional in Mobile, Ala. … the duo went 7-3 in the fall and won nine of 15 decisions in the spring.

Prior to FIU: Named Outstanding Player of the Year at Palmer Prep in 1999 … fierce competitor who was much sought after by some of the top-ranked collegiate tennis programs in the nation.
