Eulis Baez named third-team
All-Sun Belt Conference

Eulis Baez was named to the third-team All-Sun Belt Conference
on Wednesday. Baez is leading the team in points per game (13.0),
rebounds (8.2), blocks (23) and field goal percentage (.512).
"We are very pleased for Eulis and certainly he is deserving
of this recognition," said head coach Donnie Marsh.
"He has been a real warrior for us this season and it is
nice to see him honored in this way."
Baez holds the top spot on the team in minutes played with
900, a 33.3-minute average and has played at least 36 minutes
in 15 contests.
The Dominican native has recorded ten double-doubles on the
year, good for second in the conference, and is fifth in rebounding
average (8.2).
The all-conference team was selected by the head coaches and
sports information directors of each school and selected media
with representation from each member media market.
The team will face New Orleans on Friday night at 6:30 p.m.
(Eastern) to open the Sun Belt Conference Tournament. The winner
gets host Western Kentucky on Saturday night.
