Malaysia lies near the Equator between latitudes 1 and 7°
North and longitudes 100 and 119°
East and has an equatorial climate with fairly uniform temperature throughout
the year. Temperatures range from 32°C
during the day to 22°C
at night. The annual rainfall ranges between 2,000 – 2,500 mm. Light or mixed
fiber clothing is normal. However, a light jacket is recommended at the
conference center which is air conditioned.
